  • Student Artwork Featured on District Holiday Card

    Three talented Alexander County students were recognized for their artwork selected to represent the school system for the district holiday card. One design was selected at each of the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Dalton Adams, a 5th grade student at Hiddenite Elementary School, was the elementary winner. He is the son of Dean and April Adams. Aiden Hager, a 7th grade student at East Alexander Middle School, was the middle school winner. He is the son of Michael and Naomi Hager of Taylorsville. Crystal Ervin, a 12th grade student at Alexander Central High School, was the high school winner. She is the daughter of Shannon Carpenter and John Ervin.

Emergency Alert

  • When deemed necessary by school and safety officials, schools will adjust the security measures at each location.  
    School safety codes may be used as a precautionary measure or due to a threat.  
     
    If your child's school has an alert, you can go to the School Safety Department page on the district website for information regarding those codes.  
     
    When possible, school safety alerts will be posted on the school's website under the Emergency Alert Section.
